This type of class focusses on building the strength, balance, & mobility needed for team sports.
It helps with:
injury prevention
coordination
range of motion
increased power
recovery
Modifications are provided for those looking to push themselves or for those who need extra support or have an existing injury that needs to be worked around.
HIIT / Cardio

Intensity: 4-5/5
Description:
This type of class focusses on getting your heart rate up to improve endurance. This class is programmed to condition the body for the intense start-stop nature of balls sports such as football, hockey, basketball etc… working the students under the pressure of fluctuating heart rates while executing strength based exercises relevant to your clubs sport. The class has different rounds of intense movements followed by a rest interval. E.g. 30 seconds on - 10 seconds off (This will vary between classes).
All exercises can be modified to a lower intensity & to accomodate no impact if needed & is therefore is also suitable for all levels & ages.
How does it work?
Where?
I come to you, we’ll need is a space like your club rooms) to accomodate all players lying on the floor with enough room to move our arms and legs out both sides. If its a small space, I can run 2 smaller sessions back to back to accomodate all players.
Weather permitting, we can utilise your oval.
OR
We can hire a nearby hall (small additional cost)
When?
Ideally during your regular training times.
The frequency is up to you & your club. We can book a one-off session, reoccurring sessions (e.g every 6 weeks) or a block for pre-season.
Grabbing 2 or so teams from your club is a great way to run sessions. I can run 2 x 45 minute sessions back-to-back for your club.
