PROBLEM
There is so much bad advice out there around fat-loss & healthy eating which can make the problem worse.
Here’s why:
Cutting out entire food groups can lead to cravings and food guilt
Dramatically reducing calories quickly can lead to binge eating
Rapidly increasing exercise sends food cravings through the roof
Using scale weight to measure success can lead to obsessive thoughts and anti-social behaviour
Promises of quick results inevitably lead to more weight gain
Random advice doesn’t take your lifestyle into account
Focusing only on fat-loss isn’t sustainable and can make you miserable
Keeping your mental health as the top priority is important for sustainable, long-term success
There’s so much advice, taking it all on can lead to change fatigue and set you up for failure
SOLUTION
Let’s focus on positively impacting your health (instead of your weight) AND building a healthy mindset to achieve your goals for yourself.
Creating small sustainable changes, education for lasting results and a mindset that’s gentle, positive and puts you in the driver’s seat of your goals and success. and most importantly… NO FOOD RULES!

How is nutrition coaching different from a diet?
1. There’s NO FOOD RULES. The end.
Unlike most diets, there are no foods that are forbidden.
2. It’s personal
It works by putting YOU in the centre, creating and testing solutions TOGETHER that work. Not you trying to fit something that worked for someone else.
YOU are the expert on YOU, no-one else. We are going to use that insider knowledge to our advantage. (no cookie cutters here)
Let’s discover your current habits and emotions around food and make manageable changes for the better, taking into account your family and life commitments. Let’s identify your barriers to success and put a plan in place to over come them. If something feels too hard, we’ll adjust until it fits you and you achieve your goals… for good!
3. Real accountability
Progress doesn’t always go in a straight line and guessing which way to turn to keep moving forward can be overwhelming and leave you feeling defeated. A nutrition coach (ahem… like me) can take the guess work out of the best course of action and keep you believing in yourself and the process.
Motivation comes and goes and so do our moods :/ some days its easy to stay motivated and on track and others… are where we all usually throw in the towel, take our bat and ball and go the hell home. These are the days that really count and can make the biggest difference in results. That’s where a coach can help lift you up, keep you accountable and your goals in focus.
FAQs
Q: Where ar my sessions held?
A: Online! Anywhere you are! The timezone is Melbourne, Australia (AEST) but I can always find a time thats suits.
Q: Why monthly coaching & not a 1 day workshop?
A: Learning in bite size chunks has some great benefits:
• Digesting each part and the ability to ask questions there & then can increase comprehension.
• You can put what you’ve learnt into practise each week and see progress immediately.
• Change is overwhelming, taking it one piece at a time is integral for success.
Q: How long does it go for?
A:
The minimum block of time is 4 weeks to create goals, test adjust and make a plan for you to continue on your own after. I recommend 12 weeks but you will learn heaps in 4 weeks too!
Q: How is 1:1 coaching different to your nutrition course?
A: They are both great options to improve your nutrition & lifestyle but it comes down to preference. Our 1:1 chats are completely private (obvi) so some clients prefer this to a group setting.
Q: Who is it for?
A: Women looking for/to:
• Fat-loss
• Break the dieting cycle
• Help with emotional eating
• Improve how you fuel your body and mind
• Improve mood stability
• Accountability and support to help prioritise your health
Q: What kind of support is included?
A: We will be in touch every week at the same time (alternating calls & texts). You can also email me personally at anytime during your coaching journey & I will get back to you within 24hrs.
Q: Do have to go to the gym?
A: NO. Not if you don’t want to, nutrition coaching with me includes FREE online Pilates but it’s an added bonus, results don’t require you to increase your exercise at all.
Q: Are meal plans included?
A: Meal plans seem a lot like me telling you what to eat (a.k.a a restrictive diet) Instead, you’ll learn how to create your own meal plans based on you and your family’s tastes. BUT I do share plenty of my favourite recipes & cooking methods!
