Class types

Pilates for strength

Duration: 45 minutes
Equipment needed: Mat (other equipment provided) but if you prefer your own, bring 1-2kg hand weights.
Intensity: 2-3/5
Level: All levels welcome

Description:
Focussing on building strength, balance, mobility & confidence. This class is lower in intensity than the HIIT/cardio class, it has NO IMPACT and is suitable for all levels. Modifications are provided for those looking to push themselves or for those who need extra support or have an existing injury that needs to be worked around.


Boxing Circuit

This class is high energy and a heap of fun. It includes: BOXING DRILLS, CORE & STRENGTH, ENDURANCE (or aerobic fitness).

It’s a circuit class meaning there are different stations containing different exercises at each one. You and your partner (you don’t have to bring one) will have 45 seconds to complete the exercise(s) before moving onto the next station.

The idea is to inspire a lit bit of healthy competition between you and your partner by egging each other on.

*There is a kids corner at in class to allow parents to join in while the kids entertained by other kids and some activities.


Pilates cardio

Duration: 45 minutes
Equipment needed: Mat
Intensity: 4-5/5
Level: All levels welcome

Description:
Focussing on getting your heart rate up a little to increase endurance & improve cardiovascular health. This class has different rounds of intense movements followed by a rest interval. E.g. 30 seconds on - 10 seconds off (This will vary between classes).

HIIT/Cardio class is higher in intensity than my Pilates for strength class, all exercises can be modified to a lower intensity & to accomodate no impact if needed & is therefore is also suitable for all levels & ages.


Family friendly Pilates

This class is suitable for you to bring your kiddos / babies along to. They can join in or play freely in the space. The door are secured to keep them safe and their noises & silliness is welcomed!

This class is available to anyone who would like to join but please be aware there may be a little more chaos than a regular class!


Strength & Cardio Circuit (mornings)

These classes are the same Pilates style exercises but you get to choose when you start the class and when you finish, getting the most out of the available time you have. The classes run for 90 minutes but you can arrive and leave when it suits.

All exercises will be timed in 5 minute blocks. You can also choose what blocks you do and in what order. There’s timed warm up and cool down too and I’ll be there to make sure you are executing all exercises safely and getting the most out of your precious morning time.

Morning classes must be booked in 6 week blocks.


The two class types I offer (strength & aerobic) work really well together to help build and maintain a strong able body that moves and functions the way it should. I recommend attending both styles weekly if you can.

A community space

I have intentionally chosen our community hall as the location. My goal is for these classes to be available for our whole community & surrounds regardless of fitness level/skill. Where we can enjoy improving our health & have a laugh together while we do it.

No matching lycra needed. No judgment, just encouragement (& I’m sure a few coffees afterward too!)
