Good nutrition Vs will power

đŸ„—Having good nutrition doesn’t mean you’re better at flexing your will power muscles.

đŸ’ȘđŸŒIt’s not a constant struggle where strength is required.

đŸ€șIt’s NOT fighting your hunger with all your might.

It IS realising comfort eating is a facade temporariliy blocking your view of the crash that’s coming that also pushes your health goals further away.

⏰It’s taking a second to understand the way you feel is for a reason (tired, stressed, down, frustrated, low energy) and fueling the RECOVERY from these negaitive feelings with protein, good fats & low GI carbs OR a stress reliever like taking a break, a walk or a chat with a friend will in fact help you snap out of them quicker. 😊

đŸ«đŸ•đŸ©đŸŸâœ…Comfort foods are absolutely “allowed” and fit within a balanced diet, but let’s take their power away.

🩮They’re not reward for ‘being a good boy’ like you’d reward your dog or something to fix your booboo like a toddler who has banged their knee. đŸ‘¶đŸ»

đŸ‘©â€đŸ”ŹThey ARE a combination of chemicals concocted in a lab to overstimulate your dopamine receptors and make you think they solve all your problems. No not for your benefit, just so you buy more. đŸ€Ż (that got a little heavy! More on that later)

đŸ§˜â€â™€ïžShare this with someone who needs to end the struggle and wants to learn how to make peace with food and their emotions.
